For the fourth year, The Arc of Delaware County has celebrated MLK day of community service with our “Stuff the Bus” campaign. We sent crews out to The Big M in Walton and Freshtown in Margaretville. Everyone leaves this event feeling fantastic about supporting the needs of our community.
It was a chilly day but the sun shone brightly as our neighbors expressed their generosity by loading our vehicles with bags of nutritious food for those in need.
To get an idea of just how vital our community food banks are, check out the lovely thank you note we received from The Community Pantry. It’s full of some enlightening statistics about just who utilizes our food pantries. We would like to give a big shout out to all the volunteers that spend their personal time to keep these pantries running smoothly, providing for the needs of the community. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You!
