When you have a mission deeply rooted in helping people create fulfilling lives, the show happily goes on in the midst of a global pandemic. Katie Hodges and Carol Moore have absolutely shined! Their knowledge, skill sets, abilities and talents have advanced their careers from Direct Support Professionals in our Residential Department to House Managers. We couldn’t be happier for them! As they work to provide fulfilling lives for the people they support, they also get to experience life fulfillment through career development along the way.
When we asked Katie and Carol about their recent promotions, this is what they said:
“I came to residential a little less than a year ago and hit the ground running. I look forward to going to work every day and being able to support people in achieving their goals. Being promoted to House Manager I really am
loving what I do and it truly doesn’t feel like work. Find a career you love and you will never work a day in your life. I don’t feel like I’m going to work, I feel like I’m going to spend time with my friends. Being a part of the Residential team is a breath of fresh air and I truly am blessed to be a part of such an amazing team.” ~ Katie Hodges
“Wow, House Manager! So excited to learn and bring a caring upbeat vibe to residential within my new role. Over the past several months the sense of where I belonged was definitely unsure but so thankful it landed me where I am, gave me a new ‘home’ within the agency, and has given me the opportunity to support some great folks and help everyone live their best lives!” ~ Carol Moore
