For the last several years, our nation has celebrated DSP week in September. At Delarc, we love DSP week and believe recognition of this profession and our amazing team extends 52 weeks of the year. Where would we be without them? This year we are advocating heavily for the support of the Better Care Better Jobs Act, a bipartisan piece of legislation introduced in June that would be the federal support we need to move forward from a decade-long struggle to support these essential workers to the level they deserve. We hope you will join us in our advocacy as a means of celebrating DSP week!

They are an amazing group of people that I am proud to know, and being a part of supporting them to live fulfilling lives is a true honor. As the Delta variant of the coronavirus shows us its persistence, we continue to be vigilant to guidance from the CDC and OPWDD. We are thankful every day that we have mitigated the potential effects of this virus, and we continue to measure our success and revamp our protocols as warranted. Physical and emotional health and safety remain top priorities.
