Everyone was hungry for some community interaction so we formed a team and worked out the safest way possible to make it happen! We had our first every Trunk or Treat, outdoor experience and everyone had a great time!

Bobby Curious  and his fun music along with Chi Chi the Clown helped with the Hootenanny of a good time! Many visitors proclaimed as they left, “We can’t wait until next year!” and we can’t wait either! We had community members from 12 different towns and villages attend the event.

This event was made possible by NYSARC Trust Services Grant Funds.  This grant supports new recreational opportunities and enriches the lives of the people we support.  NYSARC Trust Services administers supplemental needs trusts (SNT) and pooled trusts that can make dramatic improvements to the lives of people with disabilities by enabling individuals to maintain eligibility for Medicaid and other means-tested government benefit programs.

For 2021, NYSARC Trust Services proudly fulfilled its commitment to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by awarding a total of $3,080,500 to The Arc New York Chapters statewide!  Thank you, NYSARC Trust Services!  Please enjoy the photos from what we hope to be know as our first annual Halloween Hootenanny!
