On a beautiful summer day in the heart of the Catskills, we had the honor of joining the Hello Inclusion Festival at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, a vibrant celebration of diversity, unity, and the power of inclusion. Set on the historic grounds of the 1969 Woodstock Festival, the event brought together people of all abilities, backgrounds, and communities for a day filled with connection, creativity, and joy.
From the moment we arrived, the spirit of belonging was everywhere. Music filled the air, art and wellness activities were in full swing, and smiling faces radiated the warmth of genuine inclusion. Participants explored sensory-friendly zones, interactive art stations, inspiring speakers, accessible yoga, and community resource booths, all designed with inclusivity at the heart.
It was more than just a festival. It was a reminder of what’s possible when we come together to create spaces where everyone is seen, heard, and valued.
“It was really cool to see so many different people support Inclusion and pride in disabilities.” Life Coach Jeff Thorne stated.
We’re so grateful to have been a part of this meaningful event and to stand alongside so many incredible advocates, artists, and community members. Thank you to Bethel Woods, The Arc New York, and all the organizers for putting on a truly unforgettable day. Events like these show that inclusion isn’t just a goal, it’s a movement.
