Holiday Fun at Our 4th Quarter Staff Meeting

As the year comes to a close, our 4th Quarter Staff Meeting offered the perfect opportunity to come together, reflect on our accomplishments, and celebrate the incredible people who help make Delarc such a special place. The room was filled with energy, laughter, and heartfelt appreciation as we gathered to discuss new policies, welcome new faces, and honor the dedication of our team.

Welcoming New Hires & Celebrating Growth

We were delighted to welcome several new staff members into the Delarc team. Their enthusiasm and fresh perspectives remind us how important each new piece of the puzzle is to our mission.

We also recognized staff who recently earned promotions, a well-deserved celebration of their hard work, leadership, and commitment. Watching our colleagues grow into new roles is always inspiring, and it’s a wonderful reminder of the talent within our organization.

Honoring Milestone Anniversaries

One of the most meaningful parts of the meeting was celebrating our milestone anniversaries. Studio 190 created custom notebooks filled with adjectives hand-picked by colleagues, words that truly reflect the character, strengths, and heart of each honoree. Along with their notebook, staff received an engraved pen and a check as a small token of Delarc’s gratitude for their years of service.

10 years: Gary Kinney

20 years: Brandi Ford

25 years: Heather Padgett

30 years: Molly Little

35 years: Jodi Kerstetter

It was a heartfelt moment that showcased just how valued and appreciated our milestone achievers are.

A Fun & Memorable Values Exercise

To kick things off with some fun, teams broke into groups for a unique values exercise. Each group passed around a box of random goodies, and everyone selected an item that represented their identity in some way. Some picks were hilarious, others sentimental, and a few brought back memories that people were excited to share.

It was a simple activity that sparked connection, laughter, and a chance to learn something new about the people we work with every day and offered an opportunity to highlight our Unifying Principles.

Sustainability Spotlight: NexTrex Soft Plastics Update

There was an exciting update on our ongoing NexTrex soft plastics recycling initiative. So far, our teams have collected 350 pounds of soft plastics, which is 350 pounds kept out of landfills thanks to Delarc’s commitment and community effort.

When we reach 1,000 pounds, we’ll qualify for some awesome prizes through the NexTrex program. It’s motivating, meaningful, and a powerful reminder of the difference small actions can make when we all pitch in.

Ugly Sweater Contest Shenanigans

In true holiday spirit, our Ugly Sweater Contest returned, and it did not disappoint. Each staff member received a scorecard and two stickers. When Molly shouted “Go!”, the room came alive with people weaving through the crowd, placing stickers on the scorecards for the sweaters they felt were the ultimate winners.

The creativity and, in some cases, festive chaos, were unforgettable. Below are this year’s winners!

Door Prizes, Laughter, and Community

Before wrapping up the day, we handed out door prizes, shared plenty of laughs, and soaked in the joy of coming together one last time before the holidays.

It was more than just a meeting; it was a celebration of the people, the connections, and the shared mission that carry us through each year.

As we head into the holiday season, we’re grateful for every team member who shows up with dedication, heart, and a commitment to making a difference. Here’s to finishing the year strong and stepping into a bright and hopeful 2026!
