On Saturday, November 8th, Studio 190 Gifts & Thrifts Pop-Up Shop kicked off the holiday season with a Holiday Launch Party, and what a heartwarming day it was! The pop-up shop was filled with holiday spirit, friendly faces, and the unmistakable feeling of community that makes The Arc of Delaware County so special.
From the moment the doors opened, shoppers began to flow through. Guests enjoyed strolling through the shop in search of the perfect handmade items and vintage bargains. Everyone was eager to share in the joy of the season. The atmosphere was lively, warm, and full of conversation, laughter, and connection.
Food, Friends, and Holiday Cheer
We were thrilled to welcome Cup of Mud and Catskills Hot Dogs, two local favorites that kept everyone fed, warm, and happy. Their delicious offerings added a fun, festival-style energy to the day, and we are so grateful to them for joining us.
A Visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus
The excitement rose as Mr. and Mrs. Claus arrived! Families and friends lined up for photos, and the smiles were nonstop. Children shared holiday wishes, grown-ups joined in for pictures, and the Clauses brought the perfect touch of magic to the day.
A Special Appearance by Our Mascot
We were also visited by Lil Phil, Delarc’s beloved mascot, who greeted guests and helped spread joy throughout the event. Lil Phil’s upbeat energy kept the celebration lively and made every entrance feel special.
Sharing Our Mission Through Tours
In addition to celebrating the season, Saturday was also an opportunity to share our mission and services with the public. Guests were invited to take guided tours of our day program, learning how each space (Zen Den, Performing Arts Center, Gamer Zone, etc.) plays a meaningful role in helping people express themselves, build relationships, explore interests, and enjoy rich, full, vibrant lives.
