The Arc of Delaware County had a fantastic time at the Delaware County Fair! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community, celebrate the talents of the individuals we support, promote advocacy, and have some fun along the way.
One of the highlights was celebrating our talented Studio 190 artists at the Delaware County Fair Art Show! We were thrilled to have several award winners this year, showcasing the incredible creativity and dedication of our artists. Pictured is Marlana, who took home first place. Congratulations to Marlana and to all of our award-winning artists on this wonderful accomplishment. We are so proud to see your hard work and creativity recognized!
Fairgoers also had the chance to stop by our booth and take part in a community drawing activity. Guests could create their own drawings and sign their names, and it quickly became a hit with people of all ages. It was a simple way to get everyone involved and leave their mark while learning more about The Arc of Delaware County.
Our Studio 190 program was also well represented, with artwork created by individuals at Studio 190 available for purchase. It was exciting to share their creativity with the community and see people take home artwork made by talented local artists.
Of course, we couldn’t let the fair pass by without an appearance from Lil’ Phil, our agency mascot! Lil’ Phil helped bring plenty of smiles while we welcomed new members, renewed memberships, and continued to grow our community of advocates. Every new and renewing member helps make our voice louder as we work together to advocate for individuals with disabilities and their families.
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who stopped by to visit, participate in our activities, purchase artwork, become a member, renew their membership, or simply show their support. We are especially grateful to all of our staff, volunteers, and helpers who made the event such a success.
