It was a fun festive time at Delarc’s 4th quarter staff meeting on Friday, December 20th! Staff gathered at our Hamden location adorned with ugly sweaters and festive wear. This time together allows staff to participate in team-building activities and meet coworkers from other departments. It also allows CEO Molly Little to share Delarc news from the quarter as well as upcoming news for the new year. Molly handed the microphone over to program directors Sue-Anne Cocks and Vinny Heller to talk about a revitalization initiative that has been taking place at the Community Living Skills program in Arkville. They shared photos of the renovations that have been made so far, as well as mock-ups of what is to come. In addition, Katie Backus and Val Moore gave an overview of the Community Networks Department for newer staff that may not be familiar with that department, including transition services, respite, supported employment, and community hab. We also had the pleasure of welcoming our newest staff and celebrating a promotion and several milestone anniversaries (photos below).
