On Friday, June 14th, Delarc got together for the second quarter agency-wide staff meeting dressed in Flag Day attire. Ty’s Taco-ria parked outside Hamden’s main office before the meeting, where staff had the opportunity to enjoy some delicious food.
We had the opportunity to welcome several new staff, celebrate two recent promotions, and honor three staff with special Happening Awards for going above and beyond in demonstrating our Unifying Principles (values).
The communications committee broke everyone into small groups for interactive activities, promoting learning, communication and team building, and a presentation was given by the Community Relations Department about the importance of Membership and updating the group on where we currently stand on reaching our goal of 1,000 members.
After all the important announcements, presentations, and special recognition had been made, CEO Molly Little then drew names for various door prizes, and thanked everyone for their commitment to our mission and Unifying Principles.
