4th Annual Halloween Hootenanny
This year marks the 4th annual Halloween Hootenanny. The weather was perfect for our guests to enjoy the various activities along with the trunk-or-treat.
Trunk-or-Treat
Delarc staff and friends took time to create a variety of fun trunks for the kiddos. Dressed up in costumes, they handed out candy to the many trunk-or-treaters.
Games
This year, carnival like games were added to the fun. The carnival games were provided by B&G Tunes.
Haunted Bus & Fun Bus
Previous years The Arc of Delaware County have decorated two buses, a haunted bus and a fun bus. However, being advocates of accessibility for all, we decided to make the “buses” more accessible by decorating two garage bays instead. This allowed more room for all to enjoy the decorations and games.
Artisan’s Market
Another element added to the Halloween Hootenanny this year was the Artisan’s Market. Delarc is fortunate to have such talented staff and self-advocates. An Artisan’s Market was created to provide an opportunity to sell their arts, crafts and other handmade items.
Next year
Each year we work on improving the Halloween Hootenanny, ensuring our guests are having a fantastic time. Be sure to follow us on social media to learn about future fun events.
