Self-Advocates Support #JazzyStrong

Each month, self-advocates at Delarc raise money for a cause of their choice for “Change-it-up Friday.” March’s donations went to Jazlyn Kelly and her family to help with the costs associated with Jazzy’s courageous battle with a rare childhood cancer. In addition to raising funds, Self-Advocates and staff across Delarc wore yellow and purple to show support of Jazzy and to help raise awareness of #JazzyStrong

Jazzy’s mom, Angela Kelly, used to work at The Arc of Delaware County and shared these words “Witnessing so many familiar faces donned in yellow and purple, rallying behind #JazzyStrong, brings me to tears. Your generosity and compassion during this unimaginable time mean more than words can express. From the depths of my heart, thank you.”
