Meet Amelia Taylor, a Life Coach X at the day program, THRIVE. Amelia started working at Delarc in 2021 as a Life Coach III, working with individuals in a classroom setting. After her 6-month probationary period was over, she was encouraged by her supervisors to apply for the Life Coach X position. They saw her talents and felt she would be a great fit for the role. Prior to working at Delarc, Amelia was a wedding coordinator and restaurant manager while getting her Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management. Once COVID hit, Amelia moved back home and homeschooled an individual until she started working at Delarc.
When asked about some of her favorite experiences working at Delarc, her response:
“Some of my favorite experiences working at DelArc are working in residential and getting to take people out to do fun things, we always have so many laughs and good memories. I also love how genuine and supportive everyone here is with both personal and professional goals.”
Currently Amelia is working towards finishing up her Masters degree and would love to see what opportunities it opens for her as she continues to grow within Delarc.
When asked what her advice would be to anyone interested in applying for a career with Delarc, Amelia responded:
“My advice to anyone thinking about applying to work here is, do it! You will be surrounded by supportive coworkers, caring leaders, and will build some amazing relationships with those we support. There are so many seats on the bus there is something for everyone! If you feel like this is a place for you, we welcome everyone with open arms!??”
