September 11th is a day for remembrance and a National Day of Service. Delarc honored this day with a food drive, titled “Stuff the Bus” to help out our communities. The food drive was held at the Big M in Walton as well as Tops Market in Stamford.
The weather held off on the rain for a couple of hours while locals generously donated can goods and other non-perishables. The food donations were brought to the Walton Food Bank as well as the Stamford Food Bank. Thank you to Big M and Tops Market for allowing us to park our bus in front of your store for our food drive. And thank you to the crew who participated in collecting and distributing the food supply.
